Under the guidance of Sh. M Nagesh Rao, Addl. DGT, AP LSA, Rural vertical conducted 8th SBC Meeting on 10-02-26 for the State of Telangana under the chairmanship of Sh. K Ramakrishna Rao, Chief Secretary, Govt. of Telangana. Sh. D Bhaskara Rao, DDG(Rural) presented the telecom scenario in the state vis-à-vis country for certain parameters, objectives and goals set under NBM 2.0 framework. Telecom issues related to uniform implementation of RoW Rules 2024, improving the utilization of the CBuD App by the state depts., diversion of forest land under Forest Rights Act (FRA)- 2006, Samriddh Gram Panchayat etc. were discussed in detail. Certain issues raised by COAI & DIPA and sought support from the State Govt. The Chief Secretary actively interacted with all the stakeholders and instructed them to address all the issues in time bound manner including full compliance to RoW Rules 2024 for penetration of broadband connectivity in the state.
