It gives me immense pleasure to note that a lot of technology driven transformation is happening in the Telecommunication sector. The telecom industry in India is the second largest in the world with a subscriber base of over 1.17 billion (Wireless + wireline). The industry’s exponential growth over the last few years is primarily driven by affordable tariff, wider availability, rollout of MNP, expending 3G/4G coverage and evolving consumption patterns of subscribers. The telecom sector in India is the third largest sector in terms of FDI inflows, contributing to 6.44% of total FDI inflows. The sector supports 2.2 million jobs directly and 1.8 million jobs indirectly in the country.

MP LSA is playing vital role in implementation of various Govt. of India projects like Bharatnet,4G saturation, LWE, USOF 502 Aspirational district in coordination with the state Govt.in MP & CG. The ISPs licenses are being issued in the most expeditious manner for penetration of internet connectivity in the state of MP & CG. The MP LSA is committed to extend telecom facilities to every nook and corner of MP & CG in order to harness the tremendous potential of telecommunications. All the districts of MP LSA will be covered through 5G technology in a phased manner and will definitely benefit the citizens and industries big time.
