The Additional Director General held discussions with the Mela Officer regarding telecom network augmentation, disaster management preparedness, Wi-Fi facilities, and use of satellite phones during Magh Mela–2026. UP State Disaster Management Authority (UP SDMA) organized a two-day symposium at Prayagraj for 26 districts, focusing on awareness related to crowd management, drowning incidents, cold waves, and fire safety. Under the leadership of the Additional Director General, a team comprising DDG–R2, DDG–R1, DIR–R1, and DIR–T/Observer (ABP) visited the BSNL State Network Operations Centre (SNOC), Lucknow. The team reviewed Block Router Integration and Network Management Systems under the Revised BharatNet Programme. It was informed that all 588 blocks would be integrated with SNOC shortly.

For the National Jamboree, two Cells on Wheels (CoW) were installed by Indus Towers Limited to strengthen network connectivity. The CoWs were inaugurated by Shri Arun Kumar Verma, Additional Director General, ensuring robust telecom support for the event.
