During G-20 Summit held at Mumbai from 13th to 16th December 2022, Mumbai LSA
ensured seamless Telecom Network coverage at all Hotel venues, meeting venues,
routes connecting Hotels/Airport etc. Further, mobile network coverage was also got
strengthened inside Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) and various excursion routes.
By continuous persuasion and follow up with TSPs, the mobile network coverage was
extended up to Kanheri Caves inside SGNP. Drive test for 150 route KM was conducted
along with all TSPs to identify bottleneck and take corrective action prior to
conduction of G20 meeting. To achieve above, several meetings and regular
persuasion was done with TSPs, BMC and SGNP Officials.
