The team from Security Vertical of the O/o Sr. DDG Mumbai LSA, under leadership of DDG (S), Sh Nandlal Suchdev, unearthed two illegal telecom setup functioning in the jurisdiction of Mumbai LSA. Both the cases were investigated by the team consisting of Sh. Hemant S Borale, Director (S-2), Sh Satyam Singh, AGD (S), Sh Anil Hule JTO (S-2) & Sh Deepak Mahajan, JTO (S-1).
The premises of M/s Scripton Software Pvt. Ltd. was raided on 04/10/2022 by the team of Mumbai LSA, along with Team of Maharashtra Police and concerned TSP. The proprietor of the involved company was arrested by the police and a FIR was lodged against him. Sh Kamal Kumar Jangid, ADG (T) assisted during the raid in identification of the set up and collection of the evidences.
Another illegal telecom setup, functioning under the garb of call centre named M/s Global Enterprise was raided on 20/10/2022 by the Team of Mumbai LSA, along with Team of Crime Branch, Maharashtra Police and concerned TSP. Total 4 persons involved in the setup were arrested the by the police and FIR was lodged against them.
A press conference was organised by the Crime Branch, Maharashtra Police, where DDG (S), Sh Nandlal Suchdev & Director (S-2) , Sh Hemant S Borale shared the news of unearthing the illegal telecom with the media, spread awareness about other possible illegal telecom setups and communicated about the DoT call center 1963.
