PM-WANI “WI-FI ubiquitous across public spaces and more”
PM WANI project is filling the gap for the last mile coverage of the Access service providers. In the metropolitan cities like Delhi, where in the in-building coverage is abysmal, this project will enhance the calling quality, will reduce the call drops and will boost the internet speed and coverage.
Technology vertical is receiving about 25% of the all India applications (Total approved App Provider/PDOA 14). This office is ensuring the smooth registration of PM WANI applications and strives hard to achieve the GOI target of 2 Million Wi-fi Hotspots by the end of 2021.
