HP LSA Holds Meeting on T-HCBS Implementation with TSPs
Shimla, August 14, 2025 – The Himachal Pradesh Licensed Service Area (HP LSA) team of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) conducted a meeting with Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) of the state to deliberate on the implementation of the Towers of Harmonious Call Blocking System (T-HCBS).
The meeting focused on the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued by DoT for the rollout of T-HCBS, which is designed to enhance network security and streamline call blocking mechanisms. Officials and representatives discussed technical and operational aspects of the system, including its configuration, integration with existing infrastructure, and monitoring procedures.
The initiative is expected to strengthen the telecom ecosystem by preventing misuse of communication channels and ensuring smoother coordination between TSPs and the DoT.
HP LSA emphasized the importance of timely and effective implementation of T-HCBS across Himachal Pradesh, reinforcing the government’s commitment to secure and reliable telecom services for citizens.
