The Additional Director General held discussions with the Mela Officer regarding telecom network augmentation, disaster management preparedness, Wi-Fi facilities, and use of satellite phones during Magh Mela–2026. Parallel discussions were held with the Vice Chairman, UPSDMA, and GOC, MB Area, Jabalpur, on ensuring reliability of telecom networks. On 23 December 2025, the Additional Director General reviewed telecom preparedness for Magh Mela–2026, inspected progress of CoW deployment, and issued necessary directions.
