North Zone Review Meeting Held at Kiarighat, Solan (Himachal Pradesh)
The North Zone Review Meeting was held today, 7th November 2025, at Kiarighat, Solan (Himachal Pradesh) under the chairpersonship of Smt. Sunita Chandra, Director General Telecom (DGT), Headquarters.
Senior officers from Department of Telecommunications (DoT) Headquarters and Licensed Service Areas (LSAs) of the North Zone participated in the meeting. The review session focused on assessing the operational performance, policy implementation, and security initiatives undertaken by the LSAs, along with discussions on enhancing coordination, service quality, and public outreach.
The meeting served as a platform to review ongoing initiatives, share best practices, and identify future priorities to further strengthen telecom governance and ensure effective service delivery across the North Zone.
The deliberations reaffirmed DoT’s commitment to fostering a secure, efficient, and citizen-oriented telecom ecosystem in line with the vision of Digital India.
