Meeting Held to Address 4G Saturation Scheme and BharatNet Project Status in Himachal Pradesh

Shimla, August 2, 2025 – A high-level meeting was convened on August 2, 2025, involving the Secretary (Digital Technologies & Governance), Government of Himachal Pradesh, and senior officials from BSNL HP Circle. The primary agenda of the meeting was to review the ongoing issues related to the 4G Saturation Scheme, road accessibility challenges in remote areas, and the current status of the Amended BharatNet Project across the state.

The meeting aimed to assess ground-level implementation bottlenecks and explore collaborative solutions for improving digital infrastructure, especially in underserved and inaccessible regions of Himachal Pradesh.

  • Delays and difficulties in deploying 4G mobile towers under the Saturation Scheme.
