HP LSA Organizes Outreach Session at ISP Crystal Clear, Shimla to Promote Sanchar Saathi Portal
Shimla, August 5, 2025 – The Himachal Pradesh Licensed Service Area (HP LSA) team conducted an outreach session on August 5, 2025, at ISP Crystal Clear, located in Khalini, Shimla. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the Sanchar Saathi portal, a flagship citizen-centric initiative of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Government of India.
During the session, the HP LSA team educated ISP staff and local citizens about the features and benefits of the Sanchar Saathi portal, which empowers users to trace and block lost or stolen mobile phones and helps prevent telecom-related fraud. The portal integrates tools such as CEIR (Central Equipment Identity Register) and TAFCOP to promote digital safety and accountability in telecom services.
This outreach is part of the LSA’s ongoing efforts to increase digital awareness and ensure that citizens of Himachal Pradesh, especially those in urban and semi-urban areas, are equipped with the knowledge to safeguard their mobile identities and report misuse effectively.
The event witnessed active participation and positive engagement, reflecting the growing need for accessible digital grievance redressal and fraud prevention tools in today’s connected world.
