HP LSA Conducts Online Training Session for Sanchar Mitras at Kangra

Himachal Pradesh Licensed Service Area (HP LSA) of the Department of Telecommunications conducted an online training session on 31.12.2025 for selected Sanchar Mitras of Rajiv Gandhi Government Engineering College, located at Nagrota Bagwan, Kangra (HP).

The training session was organized with the objective of enhancing awareness about the citizen-centric initiatives of the Department of Telecommunications and strengthening outreach at the grassroots level. During the session, the Sanchar Mitras were sensitized about various initiatives of DoT, with special emphasis on the Sanchar Saathi Portal, which empowers citizens through facilities such as mobile connection verification, reporting of lost or stolen handsets, and safeguarding users against telecom fraud.

Participants were encouraged to actively disseminate information about these initiatives among the public, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas, to ensure maximum citizen participation and benefit. Interactive discussions were held to address queries and clarify operational aspects of the Sanchar Saathi platform.

The online training reflects HP LSA’s continued efforts to build capacity among Sanchar Mitras and promote digital awareness, thereby strengthening citizen engagement and advancing the vision of inclusive and secure digital connectivity across Himachal Pradesh.
