The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) conducted a high-level review meeting on TTDF–NTN projects with TCOE India and the Bharat 6G Alliance (B6GA). The discussion focused on aligning India’s NTN research with global 6G and ITU standards, reviewing progress, addressing technical challenges, and outlining the roadmap for accelerated R&D. The meeting reinforced DoT’s commitment to advancing indigenous telecom innovation, strengthening satellite-enabled NTN capabilities, and building a future-ready, globally competitive digital ecosystem.Under Addl. DGT’s guidance, Compliance Vertical held a 3-day Biannual Drive Test in Amritsar (11–13 Dec 2025) across 2G/3G & 5G free mode. Voice/Data KPIs verified per TRAI norms; city & hotspot tests conducted successfully.
