Addl. DGT HP LSA Holds Meeting with Deputy Commissioner Chamba on Telecom Improvements in Aspirational District
Chamba, November 19, 2025:
The Additional Director General Telecom (Addl. DGT), Himachal Pradesh Licensed Service Area (HP LSA), convened a meeting with the Deputy Commissioner of Chamba to review and address key telecom-related issues in the Aspirational District of Chamba.
The discussion focused on strengthening telecom infrastructure, improving service quality, and identifying gaps affecting connectivity in the region. Given Chamba’s vulnerability to natural disasters, both officials also deliberated on establishing reliable alternative communication mechanisms to ensure seamless coordination and rapid response during emergency situations.
The meeting underscored the commitment of the HP LSA and district administration toward enhancing digital connectivity and building resilient communication networks that can support both developmental needs and disaster-management efforts.
