A meeting of the Uttar Pradesh State Broadband Committee was held to discuss key telecom-related issues. The Chief Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh, directed effective implementation of the New RoW Rules–2024 and resolution of issues related to the BharatNet Project. Matters concerning the RoW portal, forest clearances, and coordination with the Energy Department were also reviewed. Implementation of RoW Rules–2024 was specifically directed for Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida, and Yamuna Expressway areas.
