Message from Delhi LSA head

The Department of Telecommunications, Government of India has been striving to provide state of the Art, Quality and Affordable Telecom Services to all citizens of our country, including those residing in rural and far-flung areas. Access to reliable and affordable Telecom services is essential for the socio-economic development of our nation. Our goal is to fulfill the Government’s constitutional obligation to ensure telecom services to every citizen.

Delhi LSA comprises of complete geographical area of State of Delhi and Local Areas served by Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Noida, and Gurgaon Telephone Exchanges. Delhi LSA is regularly coordinating with the Government of National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi and other stakeholders, along with service providers to constantly improve the telecom Network. We also issue ISP Licence, M2M Registration etc. The Tele-density of Delhi is the highest in the country, being served by more than 1.10 lakhs BTSs, more than 37500 Towers of all service providers, providing all services including 5G.  5G test Lab has been allotted to Four Engineering Colleges in the city which will facilitate the students   and Startups to develop &test 5G Use cases. Around 60% of Towers are fiberised ensuring high & reliable bandwidth to the subscribers. Being the Capital city, Delhi LSA ensures world class telecom network during all important National and International events such as G-20 Leaders’ summit, P20 event etc.

As the head of the Department of Telecommunications, Delhi NCT and satellite Urban town of Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Noida, and Gurgaon, I would like to assure you that we are constantly coordinating with Govt. of NCT, Delhi and other stakeholders along with the service providers to  improve the telecom Network.
