Kerala state is amongst the states with highest tele densities, largest number of FTTH connections, maximum wireless data consumption with all villages having Mobile coverage, and 100% GPs connected on Bharatnet.  

Officers and Staff of Kerala LSA extensively support the Telecom Ecosystem Partners – Telecom Service Providers, Internet Service Providers, Infra Providers by closely interacting with them, and the State Government to facilitate further development of Telecom Infrastructure in Kerala and UT of Lakshadweep.  

Kerala LSA is closely coordinating with State Government, Telecom Service Providers, for implementing Telecom connectivity in Rural and Tribal areas, and further interacting with BSNL for executing USO funded projects like 4G Saturation Project, KLI Submarine OFC Project, Bharatnet Udyemi project, FTTH in Lakshadweep. It is also facilitating RoW permissions by closely interacting with State Government and District Administration. Further major initiatives have been taken for Consumer Protection – TAFCOP, ASTR Analysis, Verhoeff Analysis, EMR radiation measurement, Cyber Jagrootka workshops, Grey Market Analysis &Detection. Kerala LSA is also providing extensive support for State Disaster Management activities, PM WANI, and coordinating with Universities and Colleges for 5G Skill development, and setting up of 5G Use case labs.
