Kerala continues to lead India’s digital transformation—with one of the highest telecom densities, the largest FTTH (Fiber to the Home) subscriber base, the highest wireless data consumption, and 100% mobile coverage in every village. What’s more, all Gram Panchayats in the state are now connected through BharatNet.

Our officers and staff actively support Telecom Service Providers (TSPs), Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Infrastructure Providers, and government agencies to strengthen and expand telecom services across Kerala and the Union Territory of Lakshadweep.

What We Do to Keep You Connected:

Boosting Rural & Tribal Connectivity: Working closely with service providers and the State Government to bring coverage to underserved communities.
Enabling Key Projects: Supporting BSNL in executing BharatNet Udyami, 4G Saturation Project, FTTH rollout in Lakshadweep, and the KLI Submarine Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) project.
Simplifying Infrastructure Growth: Facilitating Right of Way (RoW) approvals by engaging with district authorities.
Ensuring User Safety through:
- TAFCOP (check your mobile connections)
- Subscriber verification through CAF audit
- EMF radiation measurements and public awareness
- Detection of illegal telecom equipment (Grey Market analysis)
- Cyber safety workshops under “Cyber Jagrookta”
Supporting Emergency Communications: Working with State Disaster Management teams to ensure resilient telecom services during crises.
Promoting Digital Inclusion: Encouraging rural internet access via PM-WANI and coordinating 5G skill-building with local colleges and universities.
Fostering Future Tech: Helping set up 5G use case labs and enabling innovation hubs for tomorrow’s digital leaders.
