Message from J&K Head

The Vision of the Department of Telecommunications is to provide secure, reliable affordable and high quality converged telecommunication services anytime, anywhere for an accelerated inclusive socio-economic development. Towards the realisation of the DoT’s Vision, J&K LSA has been striving to facilitate the development of a robust and secure, state-of-the-art telecommunication network for providing seamless coverage with special focus on rural and remote areas for bridging the digital divide and thereby supporting socio- economic development; proliferation of affordable and high quality broadband services. DoT is actively involved in the implementation of several initiatives, such as National Broadband Mission, BharatNet, Digital India, and Smart Cities Mission, among others, and the LSA is committed towards implementation of all these initiatives.
